We are holding a Cluster Ivy removal day on June 8th. There will be 2 sessions. If you are interested in volunteering, pick which works best for you.
- 10 – 11am
- 1 – 3pm
Area to be cleared: near tot lots, between Scandia and Farsta. That area is full of English Ivy, which extends to the fenced yards and beyond.
- Green recycle bags or large paper bags needed
- Wear gloves!
- Bring a digging tool if you have it. There will be a few available for use.
- Bring bottled water
- The ivy is not poisonous, just FYI
Future dates will be posted to continue our efforts to remove invasives in the cluster.
PS – If you have ivy growing up your trees, remove it at the base or at least cut it.
