The Annual Pre-Trick-or-Treat Halloween Potluck will be on Wednesday, October 31st from 5:00 to 6:30 pm in front of 1544 Scandia Circle (Dave’s house!).
Please bring a dish to share. 🥘
We request no desserts or sweets. 🙅♀️🍫🙅♂️
Bring your own drinks and chairs. 🥤
And of course, wear a costume — even adults.
There will be NO TRASH SERVICE on the following day:
There are no other interruptions to the normal trash, recycling, and yard waste services. As a reminder, those service are as follows:
🗑 Trash – Monday & Thursday
♻️ Recycling – Monday
🍂 Yard Waste – Wednesday
Christmas tree collection will take place on Wednesday, January 9 and Wednesday, January 16. Please be sure to remove all ornaments, lights, and tinsel!
2018 Leaf Pickup Dates:
Rake your leaves onto the sidewalk or to the edge of the road in front of your property.
Leaves from the rear of your property must be brought to the front of your property.
Leaves must not be bagged as they are directly vacuumed into landscape contractor’s
work truck.
Please do not rake any leaves from your property onto any Cluster areas, into
the woods, or onto nearby Reston Association property.
*** If you miss the pickup dates and would like to have your leaves removed, please put them in lawn and refuse bags (click here for an example) and put them out for the usual Wednesday pickup. Please do not use plastic bags. ***

Mark your calendars! Dominion Paving & Sealing will be resealing and re-striping Scandia Circle and Farsta Court in June.
Please pay attention to the details below as it will affect parking in Scandia Circle and Farsta Court.
Tuesday, June 12th – 7:00am (Scandia Circle): Dominion will be resealing Scandia Circle and re-striping after the resealing work on the same day. ALL vehicles, no exceptions, must be out of Scandia Circle by 7:00am and REMAIN OUT OVERNIGHT until 7:00am on Wednesday, June 13th.
Thursday, June 14th – 7:00am (Farsta Court): Dominion will be resealing Farsta Court and re-striping after the resealing work on the same day. In addition, they will be adding stripes to the parking spaces outside the 1518-1536 addresses of upper Park Glen Court. ALL vehicles, no exceptions, must be out of Farsta Court by 7:00am Thursday, and REMAIN OUT OVERNIGHT until 7:00am on Friday, June 15th. A separate flyer will be distributed to clarify timing around upper Park Glen Court.

Dominion Paving will be performing concrete repairs for BWWCA April 24th thru April 26th.

CONCRETE REPAIR FOR PRIVATE HOMES
In conjunction with the community work, Dominion will provide pricing for
homeowners’ private concrete work. If you wish to obtain a price quote,
please send an email request to the following address: joshs@dompave.com.
Please include your name, address, phone number and specific request in
your email. Also, please include BWWCA and your street and house number in the email subject line. For example:
Subject: BWWCA 1000 Farsta Ct
Dominion must receive the email by Tuesday, April 17th. If your
email is not sent by close of business that day, a quote will not be furnished.
If you wish to accept the quote once notified of the amount, you will be
required to put a check on your front door the day of service. If there
is not a check on the door, no service will be performed. Please make checks out to Dominion Paving.
